Natural Skincare That Works

Introduction

Sometimes you want to pamper yourself but don't know where to start. If you have super sensitive skin, it's hard to know what to put on your face. Why use a product with tons of chemicals and preservatives if you can just use natural stuff?

Sometimes you want to pamper yourself but don't know where to start.

Skincare is the process of maintaining and improving your skin's health. It can be as simple as washing your face with a gentle cleanser and moisturizing, or it can be as complex as getting chemical peels and microdermabrasion treatments.

The main difference between skincare and makeup is that skincare focuses on treating basic skin issues (like acne or aging) while makeup focuses on covering them up. You could wear both simultaneously if you wanted, but they're different products with different purposes. Some people like to use an oil-free primer or foundation over their sunscreen as an extra layer of protection against UV rays; others prefer to wear just sunscreen because they don't want anything else on top of it (which means no other makeup).

If you have super sensitive skin, it's hard to know what to put on your face.

If you have super sensitive skin, it's hard to know what to put on your face. You can't use chemicals or fragrances; natural products are usually expensive. The answer is black soap! Black soap is made from palm oil, a natural product that doesn't contain any harsh chemicals or fragrances. Plus, it's made through a process that doesn't involve heat or chemical processing like many other soaps. And if that weren't enough to convince you that black soap is great for sensitive skin (and even eczema), it also comes in various fragrances such as lavender sage and lemongrass mint!

Why use a product with tons of chemicals and preservatives if you can just use natural stuff?

Preservatives are chemicals that prevent bacteria, molds, and other microorganisms from growing in a product. They’re often used in beauty products because they protect your skin from harmful germs when you apply them to your face, hair, and body.

These preservatives aren’t necessarily bad for us on their own—but they can be when they interact with our bodies. Some preservatives have been shown to cause skin sensitivity or irritation, while others may be highly toxic and carcinogenic (meaning they increase the likelihood of developing cancer). These chemicals can also disrupt hormones in the body if ingested, which is why most companies avoid using them!

The problem is that many natural skincare brands use these same preservatives in their products. So even though you think you're buying something cleaner than what's at the drugstore countertop - like coconut oil or elderberry extract - chances are there's some sort of chemical hiding inside too!

After years of trying different products, I've discovered a black soap recipe that works for my sensitive skin.

  • Black soap is great for sensitive skin. The mild ingredients in black soap help to exfoliate, cleanse and moisturize your face without irritating it.

  • Black soap contains saponins and glycerin, which have anti-inflammatory properties. These compounds reduce swelling and redness when using harsh products on the skin.

  • The natural antibacterial properties of black soap helps prevent acne breakouts while keeping the skin hydrated with its moisturizing glycerin content.

I make my black soap from scratch.

The process is simple. You'll need:

  • 3 pounds of unscented, organic shea butter

  • 1 pound of organic coconut oil or olive oil (optional)

  • 1 pound of organic palm oil or cocoa butter (optional)

  • 16 ounces distilled water (the recipe can be adjusted to suit your needs if you want to use a smaller amount of liquid)

Optional Ingredients: -3 tablespoons tea tree essential oil (for skin infections and acne) -2 tablespoons lavender essential oil (for skin irritation, burns and insect bites/stings) -2 tablespoons rosemary essential oil (for eczema and psoriasis)

First, I melt organic African shea butter and mango butter in a double boiler.

If you’re unfamiliar with a double boiler, it’s essentially a saucepan or pot that sits above another pot of boiling water. The lower pot holds the ingredients being melted while being gently heated by steam rising from below. This method prevents your ingredients from burning as they heat up and melts them slowly to prevent scorching.

The reason why this is called “double” is that there are two types of pots involved: one for heating water (the top one), which then heats your ingredient-filled pan sitting on top of it via convectional transfer through the steam rising through holes or slits cut into its bottom; this way both pots are getting hot but only one gets too hot!

If you don't have access to a double boiler set-up, then most people tend just use their regular stovetop instead (which can be fine if done properly).

Then I add organic coconut oil and organic palm kernel oil into the mix.

You will want to add organic coconut oil and organic palm kernel oil into the mix. Both of these oils are great moisturizers, but they also have antibacterial properties. This can be especially important if you have a fungal infection on your skin since it will help prevent it from spreading further.

Once everything's melted and smooth, I add organic castor oil, my favorite essential oils such as lavender and peppermint, activated charcoal, and other ingredients such as oatmeal or coffee grounds depending on what type of black soap I'm making that day.

After stirring this mixture together until evenly blended, I pour it into molds.

After stirring this mixture together until evenly blended, I pour it into molds. I use a wooden spoon to stir the mixture, but you can also use a spatula or funnel to pour the mixture into molds. If you don't have any of these tools around your home, try using a ladle instead!

I ensure that my ingredients are well combined before pouring them onto my wooden cutting board.

The best natural skincare is the kind that you make yourself!

The best natural skincare is the kind that you make yourself! Black soap is a natural cleanser that can be used on the face and body and is made from African shea butter, mango butter, coconut oil, and palm kernel oil. This mixture will cleanse your skin of dirt and impurities without stripping it of its natural oils. Because black soap is a gentle exfoliant, making it an excellent moisturizer. With each use, your skin will feel softer than ever before!

Black soap can also help with acne because of all the vitamins A & E found in it. These vitamins are great for healing blemishes and preventing future breakouts by strengthening the skin's barrier against harmful environmental factors like sun damage or pollution.

Conclusion

So there you have it: my favorite natural skincare products. If you're looking for some natural alternatives to the products in your bathroom, I hope this blog post has helped! It's easy to make all these skincare products from home or find them at your local health food store.
